Duration : | 2021 – 2023 |
Division(s) : | Laboratory of Materials for Photovoltaics and Photonics |
The overall aim of the project is engineering of multifunctional polarized diffractive optical elements (DOE) recorded on chalcogenide glasses (ChG) nanostructures and azopolymers (AP) thin films for application in nanophotonics and biomedicine. To reach the project’s aim the following objectives have to be under development:
1. To elaborate the algorithms for designing multifunctional DOE considering photoinduced anisotropy of recording media.
2. To obtain the recording media based on nanostructures from ChG and thin films from AP possessing photoinduced anisotropy which are suitable for polarized DOE recording.
3. To develop the polarization optical and digital holography methods for the multifunctional polarized DOE recording.
4. The modified digital holographic microscope (DHM) including real-time optical and digital image processing for quantitative measurements of photoinduced anisotropy of thin transparent films and polarized DOE.
